What we paint

Trim

Fascia, soffits, window and door trim, and corner boards.

Siding

Painted siding, whether it is new, repaired, or ready for a fresh coat. See siding repair and replacement.

The whole house

Walls, trim, and details, planned as one job.

On its own or with other work

We take on some stand-alone painting jobs. Ask us and we'll review yours. Painting often finishes a siding, window, or storm repair job.

Prep comes first

Paint is only as good as the surface under it. Peeling paint, bare wood, and gaps around trim need attention before the first coat goes on.

The prep depends on the painter and the condition of your house. Your estimator explains what yours needs.

If prep turns up rotted trim or damaged siding, we tell you what we found and what it takes to fix it. Then you decide.

Paint as part of a larger project

Many exterior jobs end with paint. New siding, replaced trim, and new windows all need finishing, and one team can plan the work in the right order so the paint goes on last.

After a storm, we can coordinate the rest of the job, from siding and windows to interior repairs, with paint at the end.

We'll look it over for free and show you what we find. If you want the work priced, the photos come with our estimate.

Repainting for Multi Family communities

Apartment communities and townhome and condo associations repaint building by building. We plan the work around residents and coordinate it with any other exterior repairs. See Multi Family.

Exterior painting questions

Can you paint just the trim?

Sometimes. Ask us and we'll review the job. Trim often shows wear before the walls do, so it is a common place to start.

Can you match my current color?

We can take samples and match your existing paint as closely as we can, or you can choose new colors. New colors may need additional coats and cost extra. We can provide stain samples, but we cannot match existing stain.

What time of year is good for exterior painting?

Paint needs dry weather and temperatures inside the range the paint maker lists on the label. Your estimator plans the schedule around the weather.

How long will the paint last?

That depends on the paint, the surface, the prep, and the sun and weather the wall gets. We don't quote a number of years.

Tell us what you'd like painted and we'll come look at the surfaces with you.
