Siding repair and replacement
Siding is the skin of your house. Once it cracks or works loose, water gets in behind it, and that's where the real trouble starts. We repair and replace siding, including damage from hail and wind.
Signs your siding needs work
Look for cracked, split, or broken pieces; panels that are loose, warped, or have come off; holes and dents after hail; and gaps where siding meets windows, doors, and trim.
Soft spots, swelling, or rot near the bottom of the wall can mean water is getting behind the siding. So can paint that keeps peeling in the same place.

Repair or replace?
If the damage is in one area and the rest of the siding is sound, a repair is often enough. If the damage is spread across the house, or water has got behind it in several places, replacement may make more sense.
Older siding can be hard to match. We cannot promise an exact match on older siding. Your estimator explains the options before work is scheduled, and you decide.
Siding after a storm
Hail and wind can crack, dent, or tear siding, often on the side of the house that faced the storm. Siding is part of what we look at in a storm damage inspection.
We'll look it over for free and show you what we find. If you want the work priced, the photos come with our estimate.
If you have questions about insurance: We'll inspect, document the damage, and give you and your carrier our repair estimate. Your claim and your policy questions are between you and your insurer.
If the storm damaged more than the siding, we can coordinate the rest of the job, from the roof to interior repairs.

Siding questions
Can you replace just the damaged side of the house?
Sometimes. It depends on the damage and on whether the new siding can be matched closely enough to the old. Your estimator tells you what is possible on your house.
What is under my siding?
Usually a weather barrier over the wall sheathing. When siding comes off, we check what is underneath and tell you if any of it needs repair.
